Club members will be sad to hear that John Marriott has died. After having spent last weekend participating in Milton’s Meander in his faithful 203, John returned to Melbourne on Sunday with Heather Jones and Denise Horsley, washed the car put its covers on. In the late evening he suffered a massive stroke and was conveyed to Epworth Emergency by ambulance, where he received emergency treatment which was ultimately not successful. He passed away this morning without regaining consciousness. John was a long-standing Club Member who contributed to the running of the Club over many years. His Peugeots were his pride and joy. He will be missed by PCCV members. Notices are expected to appear in Thursday’s newspapers. Allan Horsley
