The memorial service for long-time and loyal club member John Marriott will be held at Leonda, Riversdale Road, Hawthorn, on Friday 10 July at 10.30am. (Melway 45, A12.) There will be a convoy of Peugeots, led by John’s five cars, leaving from John’s garage in Palmer Street, at the rear of 597 Bridge Road, Richmond, at 10am. (Melway 2H, F6.) This is the section of Palmer Street between Burnley Street and River Street, and parking is hard to find. You might try the car parks at Dan Murphy’s or Officeworks. If you plan to be part of the convoy, please be there by 9.30am.
