As you will have read in December Torque, Peter Cusworth is winding down his involvement in Torque after decades of sterling work as editor.
Fortunately, he is going to continue to do the design and layout, but I have been given responsibility for collecting the material that fills the pages.
This new arrangement means that contributions of stories and/or pictures should come through me. I will then collate the material for each page and send the whole lot to Peter in one hit.
As all of this has to be done by the monthly deadline, I am asking anyone with a contribution to send it to me as early as possible, and certainly at least a week before the deadline. (The deadline for February Torque is 14 January, so you would need to send your material t me by, say, 7 January.)
Anything not ready to be sent to Peter by the deadline will be unlikely to get into the magazine, so it’s a case of the earlier the better.
So the things to remember are:
1. Send your Torque contributions to me and
2. Send them early enough for me to sort out what goes where.
Thanks in advance for your co-operation and, on behalf of the club, I wish you a safe holiday season and a happy and healthy 2019.
