Every year the Peugeot Car of Victoria runs their annual Slippery Dip. It’s on Sunday 13 October starting at 10am, several tests will be set out on a grass paddock. Any normal road car can be used, speed is not a factor, just precision driving, quite slowly through nine sets of gates, generally venturing uphill until traction ceases. The more gates you pass through the higher your score. You will need a basic CAMS licence – see attached form, or a single event licence is available on the day. The entry/regulation form is also attached. Even if you just want to watch, please come with your friends for a really enjoyable fun day to watch drivers slip about a paddock. A BBQ will also be available for lunch. No alcohol may be consumed if you decide to compete. Venue location in about an hour east of Melbourne. TRAVEL ALONG THE WARBURTON HIGHWAY TO DEE RD WESBURN MEL. MAP 289 D5 TO A1. JUST DRIVE UP THE ROAD AS FAR AS YOU CAN THEN ALONG A TREE FERN TRACK/ LOOK FOR “PUG” SIGNS.
