The weather forecast is great, the 504 has had a pre-winter polish and is ready to go, and we are expected.
Our meeting place is the BP Servo northbound on the Hume Freeway near Wallan at 10am this Sunday morning.
Leaving about 10.30 we will head north towards Broadford, exiting the freeway on the C382 heading east to Strath Creek, Flowerdale and on to Kinglake West. Heading east we’ll cross the Melba Highway, arriving at Toolangi Tavern (1390 Myers Creek Road, phone 5962 9398) about 12.30.
This traditional country pub offers a great menu in a picturesque forest location.
There are several options for the trip home via Healesville or Yarra Glen.
