* 7 February: Club meeting at Chateau Peugeot. As this year is the 60th anniversary of the release of the 404, we are having a 404-focused meeting. Please bring your 404, if you have one, and come and hear members’ tall tales and true about their 404s.
* 9 February: Torquay Motor Show. See Torque for details.
* 23 February: British and European Motoring Show, Yarra Glen. Entry from Armstrong Grove, Yarra Glen. Opening Times: Display cars from 9am to 11am, Spectators from 10.00 am, Show closes at 3pm. * 7 March: Coffee & Cars @Hank’s Garage, 6 Jamboree Av. Frankston. 9am to noon. Coffee/ tea and biscuits supplied. Intended to be just a social get together for a chin wag.
* 7-8 March: Peugeot 403 Tribute at Armstrong 500 60th celebrations, Phillip Island
* 27 April: Outback Trip. Suitable for RWD and AWD Peugeots and any 4WDs. There will be many sandy, corrugated and rocky roads/tracks encountered so vehicles should be well set up for outback travel. Meeting Place – Deniliquin Riverside Caravan Park. Meeting Time – Monday 27 April late afternoon. Start of Trip – Tuesday 28 April. Duration of trip – about 18 days. Trip limit – 15 participants of which 14 positions have been filled. I have asked these 14 to let me know ASAP if they have to cancel. There are usually a couple of cancellations on most trips for illness, family reasons etc. When the last position has been filled, a standby list will be initiated in the order of when expressions of interest are received. Itinerary in order: Deniliquin, Hillston, Menindee, White Cliffs, Tibooburra, Innamincka, Haddon Corner, Birdsville, Birdsville rest day, Mungerannie, Lyndhurst, Strzelecki Crossing, Tibooburra, Pine View, Broken Hill, Broken Hill rest day, Pooncarie, Renmark.
