PRESENTATION PCCV ANNUAL MOTORSPORT AWARDS.
5TH OCTOBER AT AGM
PCCV have an impressive number of trophies that are awarded annually to members involved in Motorsport. These trophies are displayed in a glass cabinet at our club rooms. Included are two huge silver cups, the Regan Motors Cup and the William Harvey Cup for rally competitors. Smaller silver cups and polished wood shields will be awarded to our annual champions. These trophies have been donated by, or in memory of, PCCV members, past and present. Tas Smith, the club’s founder, Wade Leach, Brian Nicholas, now residing in Queensland, John Prins and Brian Amey, regular attendees at club events. Winners of these awards date back to, at least, the early 1970s, making these trophies a recorded history of that segment of the PCCV. We hope to see trophy donors or past recipients at the presentation. Please feel free to read the names on the trophies at any time. Some people monopolise some trophies while others are passed down through families. The trophies are inscribed with the current winners and remain in the club rooms. The current winners receive a medallion to acknowledge their achievement.
