KHANACROSS AT MILLGROVE ON SUNDAY 7 MAY
Jeff and Sue Gill’s property at Millgrove is the venue for a club khanacross on 7 May. A khanacross is not quite a sprint but lots faster than a motorkhana and very easy to follow the route, no getting lost like in a motorkhana. Jeff has some great roads and tracks “down the back”. Phil Torode and David Isherwood are running the event, so with their combined experience you can expect a great day of motorsport. At a very reasonable cost and all on a CAMS non-speed licence. The venue is idyllic and Jeff and Sue always make us very welcome. You will need to BYO lunch to have picnic style under the gum trees. The Gill property is on Dee Road, Millgrove (near Warburton). Supplementary Regulations will be on the PCCV website. For further information contact Phil 0432 107 301.
VMC MOTORKHANA ON SUNDAY 28 MAY
Our club is again organising a round of the Victorian Motorkhana Championship this year on Sunday 28 May at Pakenham. As usual WE NEED HELPERS and of course competitors. Last year we provided enough helpers to run a smooth event. Juniors with limited or even no driving experience are also encouraged to come for a chance to have a gentle free drive around the grass paddock, before and after the champions of motorkhana drive their stuff.
So come along to Pakenham Auto Club Grounds 405 McGregor Road Pakenham Melway 323 A4 by 9:15 AM with warm clothes to help run the event and teach a few juniors some driving skills. Look for the sign on the road as you enter the grounds. Ring Phil Torode 0432 107 301 or email phil@bidwriter.com.au . I’ll even provide some food for you.
