Given the success of our Bastille Day Lunch last year, it was unanimously decided that we would do it all again in 2017.
Unfortunately Bistro Thierry, where we celebrated last year, will no longer take bookings of more than 12 people so I have had to seek another venue. I even asked about 2 tables of 12 but the answer was still no.
Thankfully, BISTRO CHEZ NOUS in Surrey Hills to the rescue!!!!
Bistro Chez Nous is the dream and creation of long time resident of Surrey Hills, Robyn Jackson. Robyn’s love affair with France has seen her study at _THE RITZ, PARIS_ and for the past 10 years, she has taken culture-hungry Australians “on a cook’s tour of France”, through the local produce markets, cooking schools and restaurants of Paris, Lyon, Alsace and Brittany.
We have already made a reservation for us but will need to confirm this ASAP as Bastille Week is a very busy one for them. The restaurant can comfortably seat 40 people – but you need to get in early! If we have somewhere near this number, they will reserve the restaurant solely for us.
They offer a 3 course lunch for $49.50 and are licensed as well as BYO.
So, to ensure your seat, please email Val Gibson at vsgmjk@bigpond.com without delay!
