If you haven’t yet indicated if you wish to attend this once a year lunch, then I encourage you to do so without delay.
This year, we will celebrate at Bistro Chez Nous in Surrey Hills. The address is 122 Union Road. The atmosphere is very French, warm and inviting and the food reviews are excellent.
The restaurant is the dream and creation of long time resident of Surrey Hills, Robyn Jackson. Robyn’s love affair with France has seen her study at _THE RITZ, PARIS_ and for the past 10 years, she has taken culture-hungry Australians “on a cook’s tour of France”, through the local produce markets, cooking schools and restaurants of Paris, Lyon, Alsace and Brittany.
I have already made a reservation but will need to confirm this ASAP as Bastille Week is a very busy one for them. The restaurant can comfortably seat 40 people – but you need to get in early! If we have somewhere near this number, they will reserve the restaurant solely for us.
They offer a 3 course lunch for $49.50 and are licensed as well as BYO.
