The current issue of Wheels magazine contains a “hot-hatch magatest”, in which the 308 GTi 270 ranks third out of 12 cars, behind only the Hyundai i30N and the Honda Civic Type R.
In the test, at the Haunted Hills track in Gippsland, the 308 came out ahead of (in order) VW Golf R Grid Edition,VW Golf GTi Original, Renault Clio RS220 Trophy, Ford Focus ST, Skoda Octavia RS245, Subaru WRX STI, Subaru WRX,BMW 125i M Sport and Mini Cooper S JCW.
The same magazine has a test of seven-seat SUVs, in which the 5008 compares favourably with the Mazda CX-9 and the Skoda Kodiaq.
