DESCRIPTION:Fox Collection visit\nThursday 12 September\nMembers of the PCCV are invited to enjoy a walk around the Fox Car Collection on Thursday  12 September.\nWe will meet at 10ish at the south exit of Southern Cross Station on Collins Sreet.\n(Alternatively parking is available on site for those wishing to drive: 749-755 Collins Street Docklands.)\nWe will then stroll to the museum.  (You can catch a tram if you prefer.)\nThose wishing to participate wiil have to pre-purchase tickets online\, General admission is $16.50\, concession $9.50.\nThere is no access to the workshop area available  But you can  walk till your legs fall off or until close at 2pm.\nThere is no limit on numbers but if there are more than 20 we may be split into two groups. Wives/partners/girlfriends are welcome.\nIf this event is of interest contact Jim Moody on 0412 337 983 so he can gather numbers.

DESCRIPTION:Le Voyage September\n14-15 September\nOn the weekend of September 14-15 I will be having a tour though the Goulburn Valley and North East.\nSaturday morning’s departure at 10.30 will be from the Vietnam Memorial High St Seymour.  Those looking for coffee will find Araminta’s Tea Room around the corner at 56 Tallarook St will be the place.\nTravelling on sealed roads for the weekend we will first arrive at a riverside village and gardens for lunch at the local bakery. Travelling north the first stop will be a little piece of history before stretching the travelling legs through the green fields and orchards of the Goulburn Valley. Once we have reached our most northern point with an interesting named creek nearby\, we will turn south travelling through little hamlets with some amazing silo art plus another little gem.\nAccommodation for Saturday night is in Benalla. Rooms have been booked  at the Avondel Motel. 21 Bridge St West (03 5762 3677). $175 a Queen or $195 for a twin. Comfort Inn 48-50 Bridge St West (03 5762 4088). $159 a Queen. Rooms have been booked under the Peugeot Car Club so please mention this when you book. Bookings will need to be made by  7 September.\nThe North East Hotel with its cosy bistro will be our venue for tea.\nSunday morning will allow you the time to view some of the Wall to Wall art that adorns what were dreary slab brick walls around Benalla before we once again take to the road travelling through the foothills of the Great Dividing Range to a country pub for lunch on the way back to Melbourne.
