SUMMARY:Mt Gambier Hillclimb
DESCRIPTION:Mt Gambier’s South Eastern Automobile Club is running the Twin Peaks Port MacDonnell Hillclimb on 6 and 7 February. \nSeveral club members\, including Bill Hamilton and Graham Wallis\, are planning to compete. \nResults will count towards PCCV competition points. \nThe field is limited to 60 entries and places are limited so you are advised to enter ASAP. See the link below. \nGraham says the Blue Lake Motel has five rooms left at around $80 a night. SUMMARY:PCCV Concours at Clubrooms
DESCRIPTION:As expected\, the British and European Motoring Show has been cancelled because of the disruption caused by the pandemic. \nThis is good news for the PCCV because we can now have our own concours at the Nunawading clubrooms on Sunday 28 February. \nWe will assemble at 10am\, lining up the cars facing outwards\, and judging will commence at noon. \nAll the facilities of the clubrooms (toilets\, shelter\, tables and chairs\, hot water urn etc) will be available\, and the club will provide a FREE barbecue lunch\, plus drinks of all kinds. \nThere will even be cakes for afternoon tea. \nAs an added attraction\, club merchandise will be available\, so you can update your collection of club merchandise\, even worm-drive oil filters and diff oil. \nAll you need to bring is your spouse/best friend/significant other\, your newly washed and polished car\, and a folding chair (if you want to sit outside). \nThis is a great opportunity to get together for an event that’s normally held many kilometres away. \nSo mark the date in your diary\, lavish some love on your car\, and we’ll see you there.
