SUMMARY:2019 Peugeot Pageant\, Queanbeyan\, NSW
DESCRIPTION:The Peugeot Association of Canberra has pleasure in inviting you to join us in Queanbeyan\, for the 2019 pageant\, from Friday 5th to Monday 8th April 2019 (two weekends BEFORE Easter).  \nThe city of Queanbeyan\, just across the border from Canberra\, offers a range of accommodation options and potentially interesting activities for participants. The centre of Canberra is only 15 km away\, so you will have plenty of attractions to choose from should you wish to extend your stay.  \nThe weekend program will broadly follow the successful format of previous pageants:  \nFRIDAY: Registration at the Best Western Central Motel\, 11 Antill St\, Queanbeyan\, from 2 pm onwards. Pre-dinner drinks and dinner at the RSL Bowling Club.  \nSATURDAY: The day will kick off with a concours d’elegance in Queanbeyan Park (subject to council approval). We hope that the mayor will accept our invitation to present the prizes. After a picnic lunch in the park\, the afternoon will be devoted to motorkhana and driving skills events. The day will finish with dinner at the Hotel Queanbeyan\, just a few hundred metres from the Central Motel.  \nSUNDAY: In the morning there will be an observation run to Bungendore\, with lunch in the park. In the afternoon there will be an opportunity to visit Bungendore Woodworks Gallery and other local attractions. In the evening\, a presentation dinner will be held at the Royal Hotel\, in the main street of Queanbeyan.  \nMONDAY: Farewell breakfast at Central Motel.  \nRocker cover racing will be held on either Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon (TBC).  \nWe will be using the Best Western Central Motel as our home base\, but there are other nearby motels and a caravan park within a short distance. We have pre-booked 30 rooms at the Central Motel for the Pageant for 3 nights (Fri\, Sat\, Sun)\, at a special pageant rate. Accommodation is the responsibility of pageant participants and bookings can be made by ringing (02) 6298 8988 and make sure that you mention our group booking ‘Peugeot Pageant 2019’. When you make your booking you will probably be speaking to Alex and he will help you choose a room plus breakfast package (code PP19 for continental; code PPC for cooked brekky) to suit your needs.  \nBrad Pillans\, President PAC  \nEmail: brad.pillans@anu.edu.au Mobile: 0427-662112  \nREGISTRATION FORM

SUMMARY:PCCV Khanacross at Kilsyth
DESCRIPTION:  \nOn Sunday 14th April PCCV is organising a khanacross within the METEC driver training complex at 112 Colchester Rd Kilsyth. The cost to compete is $80 or $40 for juniors between 13 & 18 yo. \nThe ground layout will provide us with several testing courses on bitumen & concrete through chicanes & turns every 150 meters or so. Imagine having a fast drive around a shopping centre carpark in 2nd gear -that’s what it will be like. All tests basically start around a central assembly area to enable participants to watch all the action of other drivers. \nYou will need an Australian Standards approved helmet and fire extinguisher fitted to your vehicle. At minimum\, a CAMS level 2NS licence is required and entries must be received by Friday 12April. For first timers to motorsport ‘Come & Try’ licences will be available on the day for $25. \nWe really need people to officiate on the day – this could be timing\, helping run tests or simply observing. Bring a friend to help on the day if you can. Training will be provided. \nCatering will be available all day. \nContact Phil Torode to let me know your willingness to help. Email phil@bidwriter.com.au\nPhone – 0432 107 301 – https://www.facebook.com/phil.torode \nMany participants\, and helpers\, will ensure we have a successful day. \n \nThe Supp Regs and Entry form are attached below. \nEither email or mail the completed entry form to Glad Fish gladfish@netspace.net.au\n66 Blue Ridge Rd.
