DESCRIPTION:The Peugeot Car Club of Victoria will hold its annual Khanacross at the METEC facility in Bayswater North on Saturday 10 October 2026 commencing at 10am with scrutineering commencing at 8am. \nThe event will be run over four separate courses\, three tracks and one skid pan. \nCompetitors will be able to take part in 16 runs over the period of the day. \nWhile the Adult entry fee has been raised to $100 per driver the Junior entry fee has been reduced to $30 to encourage young people to participate. A Special Junior Trophy will be presented to the winning Junior. DESCRIPTION:Slippery Dip  \nSunday 16th November  \nThe club has a long standing tradition of running the ‘Slippery Dip’ event at Jeff Gill’s picturesque Millgrove property. \nIn this untimed driving event various courses are set up on ‘low-traction’ grassy areas of the property and the task is to get your car along the courses\, which may involve sharp turns and elevation changes\, as far as possible without losing traction or until no further forward progress is possible.  A series of challenging courses will be set by Zac Edwards on the day to test your driving skills. It’s a great day out for the whole family\, its low key\, involves careful slow driving\, does not require a competition licence and its free to enter.  So come and have a crack at the slippery dip! \nThe gate will be opened at 10am and the fun will start at 11am\, there will be a pause for lunch at 1pm. This event is open to all PCCV and other club members\, and any car makes are welcome. \nDirections. When you cross the Yarra and start climbing\, you will see signs to direct you. DESCRIPTION:Our meeting point will be the BP Northbound Hume Freeway at Wallan for a 10am departure. Heading north we will travel to view a weir wall on the Goulburn\, which I doubt many folk have been to but has a long history in the irrigating of the Goulburn Valley and further afield. A quick run then will bring us to lunch at the Trawool Shed\, Trawool.\nAfter lunch we will travel on some great Peugeot roads with views ending at the\nEildon Dam wall. Accommodation and Dinner for Saturday night will be the Rubicon\nHotel Motel Thornton – Phone: 03 5773 2251.\nRooms have been booked under the Peugeot Car Club. Besides the usual Queen\nrooms ($130) there are several other sleeping options\, with up to six in three\nseparate bedrooms. ($200). Please let Mel or Chantelle know which accommodation\nyou require when booking. DESCRIPTION:Le Voyage September\n14-15 September\nOn the weekend of September 14-15 I will be having a tour though the Goulburn Valley and North East.\nSaturday morning’s departure at 10.30 will be from the Vietnam Memorial High St Seymour.  Those looking for coffee will find Araminta’s Tea Room around the corner at 56 Tallarook St will be the place.\nTravelling on sealed roads for the weekend we will first arrive at a riverside village and gardens for lunch at the local bakery. Travelling north the first stop will be a little piece of history before stretching the travelling legs through the green fields and orchards of the Goulburn Valley. Once we have reached our most northern point with an interesting named creek nearby\, we will turn south travelling through little hamlets with some amazing silo art plus another little gem.\nAccommodation for Saturday night is in Benalla. Rooms have been booked  at the Avondel Motel. 21 Bridge St West (03 5762 3677). $175 a Queen or $195 for a twin. Comfort Inn 48-50 Bridge St West (03 5762 4088). $159 a Queen. Rooms have been booked under the Peugeot Car Club so please mention this when you book. Bookings will need to be made by  7 September.\nThe North East Hotel with its cosy bistro will be our venue for tea.\nSunday morning will allow you the time to view some of the Wall to Wall art that adorns what were dreary slab brick walls around Benalla before we once again take to the road travelling through the foothills of the Great Dividing Range to a country pub for lunch on the way back to Melbourne. DESCRIPTION:Fox Collection visit\nThursday 12 September\nMembers of the PCCV are invited to enjoy a walk around the Fox Car Collection on Thursday  12 September.\nWe will meet at 10ish at the south exit of Southern Cross Station on Collins Sreet.\n(Alternatively parking is available on site for those wishing to drive: 749-755 Collins Street Docklands.)\nWe will then stroll to the museum.  (You can catch a tram if you prefer.)\nThose wishing to participate wiil have to pre-purchase tickets online\, General admission is $16.50\, concession $9.50.\nThere is no access to the workshop area available  But you can  walk till your legs fall off or until close at 2pm.\nThere is no limit on numbers but if there are more than 20 we may be split into two groups.
