The Peugeot Worm Drive Register Australia knows owners of 203, 403 and 404 Peugeot vehicles in Australia. It reproduces some parts, reprints Spare Parts Manuals and Workshop Manuals and translates catalogues of spare parts from European suppliers. It is in contact with overseas Clubs and owners with an interest in Worm Drive Peugeots. The Register also knows owners of veteran, vintage and classic Peugeots in Australia. Most Peugeots from these eras also featured the worm and wheel back axle. There are perhaps 400 x 203s, 300 x 403s and 500 x 404s still on the road in Australia. Only about 40 earlier Peugeot models are known in Australia. Most of these are not on the road. But one day! A 1898 Peugeot and a 1903 Peugeot are on the road but they are not worm drive. An explanation“Worm Drive” refers to the worm and wheel gearing in the back axle of these vehicles. In French this gearing is known as “Vis san fin”. The Worm Review
